Changing Font Size
Large Changes
Two alternate style sheets are available:
FireFox allows you to change style via the View menu (click on Page Style). If you allow cookies and JavaScript then your choice will be kept when you change pages.
Internet Explorer does not allow you to change style in this way, but you can change by clicking on one of the links above. This will work if you have not stopped cookies or JavaScript (and are not using IE6).
Small Changes
- Opera is probably the best browser - use + and - keys on the number pad
- Other browsers hold down the control key while scrolling with mouse wheel (or go the View menu and look for "Text Size" or "Zoom". Or hold down the control key and press + or - )
Other Ways to Change Font Size, etc
Internet Explorer: see settings in Tools; Internet Options; General; Accessibility
FireFox: see settings in Tools; Options; Content; Fonts and Colours
Opera: under View; Style there is a selection of options which can be combined. Opera's own styles do not rely on cookies or JavaScript. This site's alternate style sheets are listed at the bottom of Opera's style menu.
Magnifiers
MS Windows magnifier and free ZoomPlus (http://www.gipsysoft.com/zoomplus/) magnify part of the screen but give a highly pixilated result.
