Epsom Hospital Update
Next Stage of Campaign Launched - Public Meetings and Rally planned
The next stage of the Epsom Hospital Campaign has begun with the announcement of two further public meetings and a rally in support of the hospital. These will coincide with the official NHS consultation into the future of hospital services and are designed to ensure that as many people as possible from Surrey respond to the consultation.
The two public meetings will be held on October 12th at 8.30 pm at Stoneleigh Baptist Church, The Glade, Stoneleigh and on October 20th at 8.30pm at St Joseph's Church Hall, St Margaret's Drive, Epsom. The meetings are designed to provide local people with a briefing about what is happening behind the scenes and to organise the next stage of the campaign. All are welcome.
The rally will be at 10am on November 20th outside the Hospital.
Chris Grayling said: "It is really important that we get as many people as possible to lodge a formal response to the consultation, so that we ensure that the voice of Surrey people is heard once again before final decisions are taken. We need one final push, and I hope we will get widespread support to do so."
