A group of local residents with a desire to do their part to improve the local area for the local community and the environment have created a Eco Garden for the resident wildlife. A number of businesses and individuals within the local community have generously donated the time and resources needed to bring this ecological community project to life.

Reverend Andy Cain, Vicar of Cuddington (Worcester Park) said, “Since 2013 I have worked in collaboration with some local residents to see how we might improve the immediate area together. Over time we have seen a number of developments through a volunteer business link with London based firm, JDX Consulting.  As part of this plan, JDX have helped to create an Eco Garden to protect the diverse wildlife we have found living on and around the verges of St Mary’s Road.  In this period, we have already seen clear signs of the environment flourishing. I am delighted to be able to play my part to support the environment and add to the community wellbeing by establishing effective community-business volunteer links.  As a local initiative, we have been delighted to have had the support from members of our wider community, including our local MP Chris Grayling and the Deputy Mayor George Crawford.

If you and your business would like to offer a few voluntary hours and join this environmental community link to support the local community and further aid the wellbeing of your employees through similar outdoor projects please Tweet me via @stmaryscudd.”
