The Federation of Small Businesses has welcomed Spring Electrical of Ewell to its ranks with a year’s membership in recognition of their success as Best Overall Business in the recent Epsom & Ewell Business Awards.

Chris the organiser of the awards, led the the membership presentation at Spring Electrical together with Sue Towner, local FSB Chairman and members of the Panton family who run the business.

Chris said “Spring Electrical were popular winners at this year’s Epsom Business Awards, and this kind donation of a free membership by the Federation of Small Business is an extra recognition of the role they play in the local community. It is great to see a local family business doing so well.”

The FSB has been involved with the awards initiative since they were launched four years ago.

Sue Towner, local FSB Chairman, said “ When the awards were first announced, we were particularly keen to be involved. The recognition for hard working local businesses is particularly important, which for Spring Electrical this is three generations”

Andrew Panton, Spring Electrical said “We are delighted to receive such a prestigious award; it is great testament to the hard work not just the family but all the staff past and present at our Ewell and Fetcham branches have put in. I was disappointed to not to be there on the night but it was fitting that two of the next generation were able to attend. We look forward to working with the FSB to push forward over the next year”
