The Inspired Facilities fund is part of the £135 million Places People Play legacy programme that is bringing the magic of a home Olympic and Paralympic Games into communities across the country.

This is a project to refurbish the clubs existing changing facilities which are in poor condition and in need of modernisation.

Hon Chris Grayling, said: “I’m really pleased that Sutton and Epsom Rugby Club have been given this support. The club has a good track record in building community interest in sport and I hope that this money will help them attract more people to the sport as part of the post-Olympic legacy.”
