Chris dropped into The Beacon School in Banstead to inspire the next generation of voters and politicians.

He met with head teacher of The Beacon School, Russell Bennett, and Paula Ghinn, chair of governors and then met students in the PE department, including three students who had been ball girls and boys at Wimbledon.

Chris also heard from PE staff about the Year 7’s recent success in winning the Oakwood Annual Borough Football tournament.

Mr Bennett said: “We were delighted to welcome Mr Grayling to our school once again. Our students really benefit from such experiences, and it gives us the opportunity to discuss the exciting future of education at The Beacon School and beyond.”
